As you may already be aware, TWOTHOSAND RECORDS is my senior capstone project. The ultimate goal for this project was to create or design in as many ways as I knew how up to this point, acting as a culmination of all the skills and techniques I've learned and taken interest in.
TWOTHOUSAND RECORDS is a utopic concept of a record label that I feel would exist in the real world if monetary gain wasn't the primary motivation for artists. We as graphic designers are so focused on creating for the client and satisfying others' needs before exploring our own. I felt that TWOTHOUSAND RECORDS was an appropriate response to a world that is becoming increasingly commercialized in virtually every category of art.
